Designed a logo, label, and subsequent label templates for a startup, local brewery to establish a recognizable brand for one of their product lines. Founder Ben Howe made innovative “urban farmhouse” beers using traditional techniques usually found in Champagne production. It was this extra effort and dedication to crafting a true American Bière de Champagne that made Enlightenment Ales stand out in the growing nano brewery scene. Packaging design always had to reflect the contemplative, unique story that Ben crafted for every beer. Worked closely with fine artist, Elizabeth Jacobs, who provided a painting for each release as the basis for the design.
